There has been a lot of rain. Everywhere in this country seems to be flooded. There is so much talk of rivers bursting their banks and people's homes being under water. Each year the river near us overflows into the coach park and we need to find an alternative route to Sainsburys but it has never been as bad as this year. In fact yesterday Sainsburys closed its car park which had become more like a lake.
We are lucky that our house is a safe distance away and that the force of nature is something that we are able to admire.
On such a beautiful afternoon, Josie and I went ou to capture some spectacular scenes.
Strange and powerful currents swirled over where footpaths lay hidden.
And the edges of safety blurred dangerously with the river.
