I really admire anyone who has ever made a quilt. They involve so much work but are very beautiful. I dream of the day that I finish my "I am 40" quilt. I've been working on it for nearly a year now and am going to put it at the top of my list of projects to finish before the end of the summer holidays.
Today I went to a quilt and patchwork exhibition in Whitstable and I am trying hard to channel all of the inspiration into finishing my quilt and pushing all ideas about new quilt projects to the back of my mind. Quilts take a huge amount of commitment and stamina and I just love printed fabric so much I can't help but think about the sunshine vintage yellow flower quilt and the antique green one that I also want to make. Actually my mind is whirling with new ideas and even little Charlie with his 25p bag of scrap fabric has laid out is quilt design on the floor.
